Art that is informative
Phil Wilcock has spent the past twenty years in the creative field, starting as an art director and working up to Creative Director with advertising agencies, design houses and publishing companies all over the world. His work has taken him to many countries including the United Kingdom, Kenya, Uganda, Mauritius and New Zealand where he conceptualized advertising campaigns and created design solutions for some of the world’s largest companies. Along with his award-winning design work, Phil is a keen photographer and his photographs have been published in widely circulated magazines and journals around the world.
This range of affordable art comes from a long-time passion of collecting maps from around the world. This started soon after leaving school where he worked as a draftsman for the Anglican Water Authority updating maps of the East Anglian region of the UK. These maps were drawn up in the early part of the 20th Century on canvas or linen that had a clay surface.
The philosophy is to create information and present it in an artistic way that you would be proud to put up on the wall.
